This Bothell remodel began with a well-built 1994 home that offered great bones but lacked character and modern finishes. The new homeowners wanted to refresh the entire space while maintaining the structure’s integrity. We remodeled the kitchen with custom white shaker cabinetry, Silestone countertops, and hand-crafted crackled ceramic tile set in a striking herringbone pattern. To open up the main living area, we removed part of a dividing wall and installed a new fireplace featuring a custom marble mosaic surround and a sleek quartz hearth.
Throughout the home, we upgraded materials and finishes to create a cohesive, elevated look. We added oak hardwood flooring in previously carpeted areas and refinished all floors in a rich new tone. Wainscoting was installed in the dining and formal living rooms to add architectural depth, while all doors, trim, and interior paint were updated to reflect a clean, classic style. Custom handrails and updated lighting fixtures brought the finishing touches.
